Notwithstanding that as in all things should not be abused, inserting the olive oil in the diet of the dog will get enormous benefits in case of constipation of the animal, thanks to its laxative effect.

The numerous benefits of olive oil make it a kind of super food for our animal friends; not only mono-unsaturated fats help the heart stay healthy, making them longer, but even the hair will become healthier and more polished. In fact, the oil can also be applied directly on the coat of the animal, it will make it brighter giving it elasticity. In a few days the result will be visible.

Clearly the same goes for our cat friends who can benefit from the addition of olive oil in their diet. In addition to reducing the risk of cardiovascular disease and diabetes, the oil boosts the immune system and helps them lose weight, also reducing the risk of having a stroke.
